The Flagship and Military Newspapers of Virginia are excited to present the 3rd annual MILITARY CHALLENGE.

The 2012 event was a huge success with over 1,800 participants and 3,000 in attendance. We look forward to an even bigger, better and more challenging event in 2013 with the addition of new obstacles!

This ultimate military style confidence course will feature a 5K run/obstacle course designed to challenge even the most fit athlete. Civilians will be able to compete alongside the military and take on obstacles used in military training.
ATTENTION ALL MILITARY -$5 OFF ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY REGISTRATION.
THE COMMAND CHALLENGE - The command with the most participants will receive a $500 donation to their MWR fund. The command must have a minimum of 20 individuals or 4 teams to qualify for the donation.

We will also host a kids’ mini challenge where children will have to conquer an inflatable obstacle course and some of the obstacles used in the adult race.

This event will prove to be fun for the entire family with food, family entertainment and a post race party. Individuals and teams will compete for the top prizes and all finishers will receive a medal.

This event is scheduled for July 27, 2013 at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex.

A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia!
