The USO of Hampton Roads and Central VA proudly announce Saint Leo University’s Sponsorship
Saint Leo University’s support of the military and military families literally reaches back generations. Saint Leo, while still a college and not yet a university, first established a teaching center at Navy Center South Hampton Roads in 1974. This center included three full-time teaching locations and eight additional registration/classroom sites. The first commencement––for one graduate–– was held in the admiral’s office.
Today, Saint Leo University continues to offers classes at Naval Station Norfolk, NAS Oceana, Joint Expeditionary Base – Little Creek – Fort Story, Fort Lee, Fort Eustis, Langley, and our civilian location in Chesapeake. A new office will open in spring 2012 in Newport News. Now, Saint Leo has 3,000 students from Virginia studying with the university at any given time. Degree programs offered include associate degrees in business administration, criminal justice, and liberal arts. Bachelor’s degree offerings are available in: business administration (with several different specializations), criminal justice, human resource management, computer information systems, health care management, psychology, religion, sociology, and liberal studies. In addition, students who have completed their undergraduate degree may elect to enroll in the Master’s of Criminal Justice, Master’s of Theology, or MBA. Saint Leo University offers many different delivery methods including but not limited to classroom, online, blended, video teleconferencing technology, and virtual classrooms.
Saint Leo has responded to the financial aid needs of our students as well. The Dr. Jack Callan Scholarship was established in 1995 specifically for the wife of an active duty service member attending classes at the South Hampton Roads center, and several other privately funded scholarships directed toward military personnel or their family members. The university is proud to have the opportunity now to become a USO sponsor.

Napier Realtors ERA® proudly announces their continued sponsorship of the USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia . Their real estate agents and staff have collected items to donate and volunteered on a regular basis at the USO Center at Richmond International Airport since the opening of the center in early 2010.
