USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia provides a link between the military and civilian community. Information services are available and provide: community welcome packets, maps, travel brochures, cultural information, entertainment, hotel/motel and restaurant listings, social service programs, as well as information on all local services and programs offered by the surrounding military installations. USOHRCV also provides referrals and follow-up services for those needing future assistance.

Staff and volunteers visit community events, shopping centers, military bases, and other locations on request, to provide and distribute information about USOHRCV programs and services and other Hampton Roads and Central Virginia family-support agencies.
