Military members and their families are honored with free admission to the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk. This event is open to the public and free to military and dependents.

Each December the USOHRCV assists local military families who are facing difficult times. These families are then “adopted” by local individuals and organizations who buy gifts and food to help these families have a happy holiday season.
